We are looking for an FP&A; Manager who will form part of the Infrastructure Finance Team and report into the Power FP&A; Director, with a broad remit across a wide range of current and future power assets.
Key Stakeholders for the role: Power FP&A; Director – expect almost daily contact to discuss progress on projects and new initiatives
Power business project/ operations/ commercial teams – strong relationship required to build insight, manage forecasting processes & insight
Functional experts (Group Finance and other technical experts) – regular contact to seek their input for technical accounting, forecasting, tax treatment
Group FP&A;/ business support – a crucial part of the role is meeting Group requirements for forecasting & reporting, including Investor Relations at year end
Executive management – Power Leadership Team & Group Exec/ Management to field queries & provide insight Financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) refers to the processes designed to help organizations accurately plan, forecast, and budget to support the company s major business decisions and future financial health. These processes include planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance reporting. What are we looking for? MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Excellent financial acumen and experience with financial modelling, analysis and planning

Focus on Priorities Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage planning and forecasting activity, in line with Group guidance,
highlighting risks and opportunities to guide a rolling latest view of performance
Translate financial asset performance into clear executive reporting content, ensuring financial messages are clear & consistent to drive business decisions
Work closely with Financial Control team to develop and maintain financial models which assess the profitability, valuation and risk of existing assets & potential projects
Support the Commercial Operations team to quantify financial impact of operational performance
Manage financial support for our Power strategy as it evolves, pulling out key financial insights / impacts to drive business decisions
Ensure FP&A; are in a position to integrate new assets and businesses into our existing processes and reporting
Support wider Group programme to transform the way we manage FP&A; across Centrica, ensuring Infrastructure plays a leading role in shaping the future The role requires analytical problem solving to interpret complex financial and operational information and translate it into explicit insight for decision makers. The job holder works within established Group planning, forecasting and reporting frameworks, exercising judgement to assess performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions. Problems typically involve reconciling multiple data sources, understanding drivers of variance, and assessing the financial impact of asset and operational performance.
While overall strategy and frameworks are set at a senior level, the role independently resolves most analytical issues within its remit and adapts solutions as the infrastructure strategy evolves.
