Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in financial planning, project finance, fund raising, banking relationships, project cost control, statutory compliance, budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial risk management. The candidate will play a key role in arranging project funding, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring effective financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management

Manage the overall finance and accounting operations of the organization.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.

Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.

Prepare management MIS reports, financial dashboards, and profitability analysis.

Project Funding & Banking

Arrange project funding through banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and private investors.

Coordinate with lenders for project finance, construction finance, working capital facilities, and term loans.

Prepare financial models, CMA data, projections, and documentation required for funding proposals.

Manage loan disbursement processes, utilization certificates, and lender compliance requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and credit agencies.

Negotiate financing terms and optimize borrowing costs.

Project Cost Control

Prepare project-wise budgets and establish cost control mechanisms.





Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.

Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to control project costs.

Review BOQs, contractor bills, procurement costs, and vendor payments from a financial perspective.

Track construction costs, overheads, and project profitability.

Work closely with project, procurement, contracts, and engineering teams to improve cost efficiency.

Ensure timely reporting of project financial performance to management.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.

Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and bank audits.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.

Receivables & Payables

Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables.

Oversee vendor payments and optimize payment schedules.

Manage customer account reconciliations and financial controls.

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Implement financial SOPs, internal controls, and best practices.

Coordinate effectively with legal, sales, CRM, procurement, project, and management teams.

Required Skills





Robust knowledge of project finance and funding arrangements.

Experience in arranging bank finance, NBFC funding, and institutional borrowing.

Expertise in project budgeting and cost control.

Strong understanding of financial modelling and feasibility analysis.

Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and accounting standards.

Excellent skills in cash flow management, working capital planning, and financial analysis.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

8–12 years of experience in the Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure sector.

Proven track record of arranging project finance and maintaining lender relationships.

Experience in residential, commercial, plotted development, or township projects.

Hands-on experience in project costing, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
