Role Context The role is responsible for end‑to‑end finance operations, statutory compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls in a company transitioning towards IPO and rapid scale.

This position ensures financial discipline, accuracy, and compliance, allowing the FC to focus on strategic finance and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Accounting & Close a. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes b. Ensure timely and accurate books of accounts as per Ind AS c. Maintain strong balance sheet hygiene and documentation d. Lead consolidation (if multiple entities)
- Audit, Tax & Compliance a. Act as single point of contact for:

i. Statutory auditors ii. Tax auditors iii. Internal auditors b. Drive audit planning, execution, closure, and resolution of issues c. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, FEMA (as applicable)

d. Proactively manage audit observations and regulatory risks

- Internal Controls & IPO Readiness a. Design and strengthen internal financial controls (IFC)

b. Drive SOP documentation, risk & control matrices, and process discipline c. Support IPO‑related financial restatements and audit requirements d. Ensure readiness for increased governance and public scrutiny

- Treasury, Cash & Working Capital a. Oversee cash management, banking operations, and fund flows b.



Monitor and optimise working capital (AR, AP, inventory)

c. Support CFO in bank reporting and covenant compliance

- Team & Process Leadership a. Lead and develop finance operations team b. Set transparent roles, accountability, and timelines c. Improve productivity through process simplification and automation d. Partner with ERP / IT teams for finance systems effectiveness

Candidate Profile

- Experience & Background a. 12–18 years of experience in Finance Operations / Controllership b. Experience in:

i. Listed company, or ii. PE‑backed / large privately‑held company with strong governance c. Prior exposure to Big 4 (Audit or Accounting Advisory) is highly desirable d. Hands‑on experience with Ind AS and audit handling is mandatory

- Qualifications a. Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory b. Expertise in IND-AS accounting mode
- Key Skills & Attributes a. Deep understanding of accounting standards and controls b. Ability to manage auditors and regulators confidently c. Strong execution mindset with attention to detail d. Authority to push discipline without escalation e. Calm, structured, and process‑driven leadership style
- Languages a. English – mandatory b. Hindi – mandatory c. Marathi – added advantage

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
