Summary:

RTR Tower Lead is a senior corporate role responsible for managing a team and overseeing end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) financial processes. In large organizations or shared service centers, a "tower" refers to a specific functional domain or business unit, making this position a team lead for general ledger, closing, and financial reporting operations.

Key Skills:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in RTR - Finance and Accounting domain
- At Least 3 years of Team Handling experience
- Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained (Black Belt preferred)
- Proven track record of leading and/or mentoring multiple Lean Six Sigma improvement projects
- Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities: 1. Tower Ownership

- Act as the end-to-end owner of a specific service tower (e.g., Infrastructure, Applications, or Network).
- Ensure overall service performance, stability, and delivery within the assigned tower.
- Define the tower strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Service Delivery Management

- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with SLAs and OLAs.
- Monitor and manage:
- Service availability
- Performance
- Incident resolution
- Drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.

3. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and support employee development.
- Foster collaboration across teams and service towers.

4. Incident, Problem & Change Management

- Oversee major incident resolution and restoration activities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Problem Management initiatives.
- Review, approve, and govern Change Management activities.
- Minimize business impact during outages and service disruptions.





5. Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, business units, and leadership.
- Conduct business reviews and present service performance reports.
- Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans proactively.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- Identify opportunities for:
- Process improvement
- Automation
- Cost optimization
- Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.

7. Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness, documentation, and process adherence.

8. Financial & Resource Management

- Manage tower budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation.
- Optimize resource utilization while balancing cost and performance.

9. Risk & Issue Management

- Identify operational risks, dependencies, and potential issues.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to senior leadership as required.

10. Cross-Tower Collaboration

- Collaborate with Tower Leaders to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery.
- Drive cross-functional coordination and resolve interdependencies.
- Support integrated service operations across multiple domains.

>Technical Capabilities / Skills

Systems:

- Expert knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
