Role Description The Field Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kollam.
The Field
Assistant will visit assigned villages and local communities to support customer onboarding, promote financial products and services, and provide assistance with loan applications and repayment processes. This role includes conducting field visits, organizing group meetings, collecting and verifying documents, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.

Assistant will also follow organizational policies, support compliance and risk management, and collaborate closely with branch staff to meet outreach and portfolio goals.
The position involves regular travel within the local area and direct engagement with customers to build trust and long-term relationships.
Qualifications
Ability to engage with customers in rural and semi-urban areas, build rapport, and communicate clearly and respectfully.
Strong basic numeracy and data recording skills to handle cash-related tasks, maintain records, and complete documentation accurately.
Comfort with field-based work, including regular travel, conducting group meetings, and working independently in community settings.
Basic familiarity with banking or financial services, especially microfinance or lending operations, is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification of higher secondary (12th standard) or equivalent; a diploma or degree in any discipline is an advantage.
Proficiency in local language spoken in Kollam; basic reading and writing skills in English are beneficial.
