Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Fashion Designer at Thread Atlas Group.

The Fashion

Designer will develop concepts and collections aligned with each brand’s identity, focusing on up-to-date silhouettes and culturally inspired details. Day-to-day tasks include creating sketches and technical drawings, selecting textiles and trims, and developing embroidery and surface design ideas. The role involves overseeing fittings, refining garments for comfort and style,



and collaborating with cross-functional partners such as product developers and brand strategists.

The Fashion

Designer will also provide input on mood boards, trend research, and production-ready specifications to ensure designs are both aesthetically strong and commercially viable.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Fashion Design, with the ability to translate brand direction into cohesive collections especially Women work wear.
- Hands-on experience with Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, texture, and material performance for apparel.
- Proficiency in Embroidery and decorative techniques to incorporate culturally inspired, craft-focused details.
- Skill in Fitting and garment construction, ensuring designs are wearable, functional, and aligned with sizing standards.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) for digital sketching and technical packs.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, including mood board creation and trend research across fashion and interiors.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams, manage deadlines, and iterate based on feedback.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in apparel or lifestyle brands.
