Hiring: Associate Fashion Designer | LA People We're looking for a designer who can turn a screenshot of someone's dream garment into a pattern that actually fits, moves and holds up not just something that looks right on a mood board. At LA People, every project starts with a real conversation. A founder shares a reference image or a rough idea of what they want and it's our job to translate that into a clear design direction, the right fabric and a pattern that's ready to sample.
This role also covers our tech pack and design illustration work — a growing part of what we offer clients directly.
Requirements: ✔ 6 months - 1 years of experience in fashion/apparel industry ✔ Solid grasp of Tech Packs, CAD & CLO 3D ✔ Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and pattern-making fundamentals
✔ Clear communication and confidence speaking directly with clients
✔ Ownership mindset — someone who stays with a project through sampling, not just the first sketch
