Faculty The Postgraduate Diploma (PG) Diploma in School Counselling programme is designed for educators, counsellors, and school professionals who wish to develop knowledge and skills to support the social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and adolescents in school settings. The programme focuses on understanding child and adolescent development, counselling processes in schools, responding to diverse student needs, and building supportive school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of courses in the programme.
- Design core and elective courses for the programme.
- Plan field work and practicum.
- Student mentoring
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Psychology/Counselling Psychology/Education/Human Development/ Social Work/Special Education or related fields.
- Work experience in education, counselling, mental health, or working directly with children, adolescents, or adult learners.
- Interest in school counselling, child and adolescent well-being, and inclusive education.
- A strong commitment to teaching in a diverse classroom.
- An active research agenda and a willingness to contribute to the PG Diploma programme in School Counselling grounded in the Indian context.
