About- IIIT Bhubaneswar owes its origins to the initiative of the Government of Odisha. It is a result of the desire of the Government to establish a world-class institute of Information Technology in the state. The Institute was registered as a society in Nov 2006. In January 2014, the Institute is converted to a University by the Government of Odisha. The Governance structure of the Institute is modelled after those of the IITs.

Eligibility/Qualification– Minimum Qualification Discipline Qualification English M.A. (English) Computer Science and Engineering M.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering/IT) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering M.Tech.( Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) Mathematics M.Sc. (Mathematics) Management M.B.A.

Desirable Experience 1-2 years of experience of teaching B.Tech. students

Method Of Evaluation





- Depending on the number of candidates who arrived for a walk-in interviews in a Discipline, the Institute may short list based on suitable merit criteria.
- Personal Interview

Job/Position Description- Position: Faculty Member on Contract (The Selected Candidate shall be initially engaged for a period of six months which may be extended further depending on his/her performance and requirement.) Consolidated Pay Rs. 55000 (For candidates having PhD degree)

Rs. 50000 (for candidates having Post graduate degree)

- A Demand Draft of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 in case of SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of “IIIT Bhubaneswar” is required to be deposited.

How To Apply- Schedule of Interview:

- The date for the walk-in Interview is 14th November 2022. The Interview may also be extended to 15th November 2022 based upon the number of candidates in a Discipline.
- The reporting time at the Institute is 9:30 AM on 14th November 2022.

Documents Required For Interview

- Interested Candidates are required to attend the Interview at IIIT Bhubaneswar campus as per schedule with their resume, 2 passport size color photographs and other testimonials as proof of their qualification and experience.
- One set of photocopies of the original certificates and other relevant documents to be submitted.
