Designation/Position- Faculty Positions at TIFR
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research invites applications for Faculty Positions at TIFR from eligible and interested candidates.
About- The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of TIFR, and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) invite applications for faculty appointments at the levels of Reader, Associate Professor, and Professor. Opportunities are available in Science Education Research and several core science disciplines for candidates with outstanding research records and a commitment to teaching and academic leadership.
Research/Job Area- Various cience, Mathematics and Technology Education (STME); Mathematics; Physical Sciences; Chemical Sciences; Biology and Life Sciences; Computer Science, Learning, Information and Data Science.
Location- HBCSE and various campuses and centres of TIFR in India, including Mumbai.
Eligibility/Qualification– Applicants should possess a Ph.D. from a recognized institution with an outstanding research record. Postdoctoral experience is expected for most positions, though exceptional fresh Ph.D. graduates may be considered for entry-level appointments. Candidates in education, humanities, and social sciences with solid contributions closely related to STME are also encouraged to apply.

Designation Faculty positions at the levels of Reader, Associate Professor, and Professor.
Successful candidates will lead independent and innovative research programs, supervise graduate students, contribute to teaching in the TIFR Graduate School, and participate in academic and outreach initiatives. At HBCSE, faculty are also expected to contribute to national programs in science and mathematics education, teacher professional development, and educational research and development.
