Company Description Breadberry Baking Company, founded in 2024, focuses on making clean, bakery-quality bread. The company uses only high-quality ingredients and avoids additives, preservatives, and artificial colors.

Breadberry operates a 5,000 sq ft factory with capacity scalable to produce up to 4,500 breads per hour. The brand is available on major online platforms such as Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, and First Club, in around 20 stores across Bengaluru, and directly to approximately 2,000 nearby homes. This growth-oriented environment offers team members the opportunity to contribute to a young, quick-scaling food brand.

Role Description The Factory Manager role is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of Breadberry's factory.

The Factory

Manager will ensure ingredients are always in stock, keep equipment fully functional, manage outbound shipments to customers, and manage factory staff and their attendance.

The role spans eight key areas: inventory & purchases, equipment, facilities & utilities, production & packing, transport management, quality & food safety, factory staff management, and attendance management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience managing a food production or manufacturing facility, ideally in bakery, FMCG, or F&B.;
- Strong understanding of inventory and purchase planning to keep raw materials always in stock.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting factory equipment.
- Ability to manage facilities and utilities (power, water, maintenance) to keep operations running smoothly.
- Experience overseeing production and packing lines to meet daily output targets.
- Ability to coordinate outbound transport and shipments to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
- Working knowledge of food safety and quality standards (FSSAI or equivalent).
- Experience managing factory staff, including shift scheduling, discipline, and day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to track and manage staff attendance and ensure adequate manpower coverage at all times.
- Strong organizational and people-management skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
