Role Description The Fabrication Supervisor is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing daily fabrication activities and coordinating production workflows. This role involves supervising fabrication teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work meets quality, safety, and timeline requirements.

The Fabrication

Supervisor will review technical drawings, support welding and fabrication processes, and collaborate with production planning to optimize resource usage and project schedules. The role also includes implementing quality control checks, maintaining documentation and reports, and providing training and guidance to team members to support consistent performance and adherence to standards.



The supervisor will regularly communicate with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve production-related issues.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Quality control capabilities with experience in inspection, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement.
- Production planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Working knowledge of welding processes and fabrication techniques, with the ability to support and guide technical teams.
- Training skills to onboard, coach, and develop fabrication staff in safety, quality, and operational best practices.
- Understanding of industrial safety regulations and commitment to safe work practices.
- Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote supervisory capacity using digital tools for communication and coordination.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, fabrication, or industrial engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
