The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process.
from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Automotive Exterior Trims Design & Development - Exterior Panels, Bumpers, spoiler, Plenum applique, cladding, under body covers etc.
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within timeline
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- 3 to 7 years of CAD experience
- Experience on (Exterior trims ) who has executed at least 1-full program from Scratch till SOP.
- Knowledge of Automotive trim product design and development cycles and its milestones / gateways & Timelines.
- Positive Knowledge on plastic part Design & tooling for checking tooling feasibility with tool direction definition, parting line & Slider/ Lifter construction.
- Should have exposure on Interface checks, DMU, Manufacturing and Service requirements.
- Understand GD & T and have hands on experience on basic GD &Tolerance.;
