We're Looking For

Export Documentation & Compliance Executive

We are looking for an experienced skilled with a strong background in food export documentation, freight forwarding, customs compliance, or international logistics to join our founding operations team.

This is a unique opportunity to help build one of the most advanced Compliance Rules Engines for international food exports.

Your Primary Responsibility The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, verifying, and building the HALBEX Compliance Rules Database.

This compliance engine will power the complete HALBEX platform and will include:

✅ 500+ Indian export food products

✅ 41 destination countries

✅ Product-specific export compliance

✅ Destination-country import regulations

✅ Market-access requirements

✅ Product certifications

✅ Export documentation

✅ Freight forwarding documentation

✅ Customs clearance requirements

✅ Destination-country import clearance requirements

Every compliance record will be created using HALBEX's fixed compliance framework and integrated directly into our production platform.

What You Will Do

You will research and verify:

Indian export regulations

Destination-country import regulations

Product-specific compliance requirements

HS Code verification

Destination-country HS Code mapping





Product certifications

SPS requirements

Phytosanitary requirements

Veterinary requirements

Food safety requirements

Logistics documentation

Freight forwarding documentation

Customs documentation

Destination clearance documentation

Regulatory updates

Every compliance rule must be verified using official government and statutory regulatory sources before it becomes part of the HALBEX Compliance Rules Database.

Preferred Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in one or more of the following:

Export Documentation

Freight Forwarding

Customs Clearance

CHA Operations

Food Export Companies

Export Houses

International Logistics

Trade Compliance

Experience with food export products such as:

Rice

Pulses

Spices

Fresh Fruits

Fresh Vegetables

Dry Fruits

Frozen Foods

Frozen Meat & Poultry

Dairy Products

Beverages

Cooking Oils will be highly preferred.

Practical knowledge of

APEDA

FSSAI

ICEGATE

Commercial Invoice

Packing List

Shipping Bill

Bill of Lading

Air Waybill

Certificate of Origin

Export Documentation

Import Documentation

Customs Documentation

Knowledge of international food regulations, destination-country import procedures, SPS measures, phytosanitary certificates, veterinary certificates, food safety regulations, and customs clearance processes will be an added advantage.

About the Compliance Rules Database

This is not a routine logistics or documentation role.

You will help build the HALBEX Compliance Rules Database, which will become the intelligence layer of the HALBEX platform.

The compliance data you create will directly control:





Seller onboarding

Product approval

Destination-country activation

Buyer compliance

Shipment preparation

Freight forwarding workflows

Customs clearance

Destination import clearance The quality of this database directly impacts international shipments.

Missing a mandatory compliance requirement could delay customs clearance, hold containers at the port, or result in shipment rejection.

Therefore,

Accuracy is always more important than speed.

AI Usage Policy

AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms may be used only as research assistants.

However,

Every compliance rule must be independently verified using official government authorities, customs administrations, food safety regulators, ministries, and statutory bodies before it is accepted into the HALBEX production database.
