- Lead and drive Safety Excellence initiatives for GUJ Site including projects and construction safety.
- Ensure that all mandatory safety trainings has been imparted and required legal, local and statutory compleinces meet timely manner.

- Responsible for Identifying, reporting and eliminating Hazards or working conditions resulting into personal injury or property damage.
- Responsible for conducting regular safety checks and inspections with concerned departments.
- Responsible for day-to-day wastewater and waste management and co-ordination for waste disposal.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory Environment occupational health and safety regulations.
- Responsible for conducting JHA, HIRA, PSSR for new work assignment or installations.
- Accountability
- Support ES&H; Manager to drive the EHS culture in plant and contribute in achieving "Zero Harm”.
- Ensure work permit compliance are follow, support engineers, and permit issue for permit compliance.
- Routine Monitoring of Waste water treatment plant performance, and take appropriate measures as and when required to comply with statutory requirements.
- Lead incident investigation and analyze incidents to arrive at the Root cause, ensure CAPA in place for each incident also evaluate the effectiveness of actions implemented.
- Support in implementation and timely updating of requirements spelled in Setting Management System (ISO 14000: 2015).
- Facilitate imparting ES&H; Scheduled trainings to employees and contractual workers.
- Participate and support ES&H; Manager to conduct Employee safety engagement and awareness activities e.g safety week celebration, world environment etc.
