We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance and basic PLC troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation of electrical equipment, utility systems, and process control systems through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance Operations

- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities for electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore equipment within minimum downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring electrical breakdowns.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Monitor electrical system performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Electrical Equipment Maintenance Hands-on experience in maintenance of:

- HT and LT Power Distribution Systems
- Power and Distribution Transformers
- HT/LT Switchgear
- Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB)
- Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)
- Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)

- Power Cables and Cable Networks
- Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems

Motor & Drive Systems Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of:

- HT and LT Motors
- Soft Starters
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- DC Drives
- Motor Protection Systems

Utilities & Auxiliary Systems

Experience in maintenance of

- DG Sets
- UPS Systems
- Battery Chargers and Battery Banks
- Air Compressors (Electrical Systems)
- Cooling Water Systems
- Cooling Towers
- HVAC Electrical Systems
- Utility Pumps
- Industrial Lighting Systems
- Fire Protection Electrical Systems

- Participate in energy-saving and reliability improvement projects.
- Carry out preventive maintenance audits.
- Monitor power consumption and recommend optimization measures.
- Improve equipment MTBF and reduce MTTR.
- Support modernization and electrical improvement initiatives.

Maintenance Planning

- Prepare maintenance schedules and shutdown plans.
- Maintain equipment history records and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, instrumentation, and mechanical teams.
- Manage critical electrical spares and inventory control.
- Prepare maintenance reports and breakdown analysis.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure safe isolation and permit-to-work compliance.
- Participate in safety audits and hazard identification programs.
- Maintain electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and documentation.

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in maintenance and utilities, preferably in chemical, metal, or battery recycling industries
- Robust knowledge of mechanical systems, utility infrastructure, and automation
