Role Description The Executive – Drug Product Formulation Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The role involves designing and developing drug product formulations, conducting pre-formulation and formulation studies, and supporting scale-up and technology transfer activities.

The executive will collaborate with R&D; teams to plan experiments, analyze data, and optimize formulations for stability, efficacy, and manufacturability. Daily tasks include preparing technical documents, reports, and presentation materials; coordinating with cross-functional teams such as analytical, regulatory, and production; and ensuring activities comply with relevant quality and regulatory guidelines.



The role also includes contributing to market and competitor assessments for recent and existing formulations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the development laboratory.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) skills, including experience in formulation development and experimental design.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills and Sales awareness to understand therapeutic trends, competitive products, and commercial considerations for drug formulations.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret experimental data, troubleshoot formulation issues, and support stability and compatibility studies.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare clear technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and quality systems applicable to pharmaceutical product development.
- Ability to work systematically in a laboratory environment, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines.
- Prior experience in solid oral, parenteral, or other dosage form development is beneficial.
