Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SSIS or Datastage.

- Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and transformation.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability.

- Document ETL processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in ETL development.

- Strong proficiency in T-SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).

- Hands-on experience with SSIS or IBM Datastage.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational databases, and data modeling.

- Experience with performance optimization and error handling in ETL processes.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
