Role Description The Estimation Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Palwal.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil engineering projects, analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents. This role involves conducting market research on materials, labor, and equipment costs, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to gather accurate data.

Engineer will support bid preparation, participate in negotiations with contractors and suppliers,



and update estimation records and databases to reflect current prices and project performance. The role also includes monitoring project costs against estimates and providing regular reports to ensure financial control and alignment with project budgets.

Qualifications

- Strong project estimation skills, including experience in Project Estimation and preparing detailed BOQ.
- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
- Ability to conduct structured Research on material costs, labor rates, and market trends to support accurate estimations.
- Negotiation skills for working with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders on pricing and contract terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; diploma candidates with strong estimation experience may also be considered.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional project teams on-site.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects is preferred.
