Role Description The Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, performing cost analysis, and supporting tender preparation. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, conducting market research for pricing,



and assisting in negotiations with vendors and clients.

The Estimation

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of estimation processes and maintain organized documentation for all bids and projects.

Qualifications

- Strong capabilities in Project Estimation and BOQ preparation, including quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline, with understanding of building services.
- Ability to conduct thorough Research on materials, vendors, and market rates to support competitive and accurate estimates.
- Negotiation skills for coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and clients on pricing and contractual terms.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation and MS Office tools (Excel, Word); exposure to estimation software is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a project team.
- Prior experience in estimation for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Firefighting projects is preferred.
