Role Description The Equity Research Intern will support the research team in analyzing listed and unlisted companies, sectors, and markets, with a focus on generating investment insights and recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and interpreting financial and industry data, building and updating financial models, preparing research notes and presentations, and tracking news and corporate developments.
The intern will assist in preparing internal reports, supporting client deliverables, and coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed. This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, requiring consistent collaboration with senior analysts and other team members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid foundation in Finance.
- Candidates should possess practical experience or coursework in Financial Modeling.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and interest in Equity Research and capital markets.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal reporting.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial databases or market data platforms is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with tight deadlines, and a strong interest in investment research.
- Prior internships or projects in equity research, investment banking, or related fields are an advantage.
- Completed graduate/ post graduate degree
