Role Description The English working professional will provide online English tutoring and mentoring to students, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, assessing student performance, giving constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles.

The role also involves maintaining clear communication with learners and guardians, updating progress records, and using EdifyChamps’ digital tools and resources. This is a part-time,



remote role that requires reliable availability during agreed time slots and a professional online presence.

Qualifications

- Strong command of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and academic writing.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring English learners in an online or classroom setting.
- Ability to design clear lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning resources.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications in ESL/EFL or online teaching are an advantage.
- Reliable internet connection, appropriate hardware for remote teaching, and ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
