Overview
Position: Engineer II - InfraOps(4 to 8 years of Window & Cloud Administration Systems)Type: Full Time Employee (FTE)We are seeking a skilled Windows & Azure Cloud Support Engineer with expertise in Automation using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM Templates to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining Windows-based systems, cloud infrastructure along with automation and providing support to our internal users and enterprise projects, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.Technology skills, Competencies and Experience:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and systems hosted on OnPrem and Azure Cloud.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and dashboards to enable proactive support and incident prevention.
- Conduct accurate research, analysis and fact gathering to support root cause analysis of issues.
- Follow standard troubleshooting guidelines and procedures outlined by the team• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and lifecycle operations across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development, platform engineering, and operations teams to integrate Infrastructure as Code, security controls, and automated deployment processes into DevOps workflows.
- Assisting in Design, Development, and Implementation of Technical prototypes and Proof of Concepts.
- Deploy, administer, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments,
including cluster configuration, scaling, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Product Technical documentation and Knowledge Articles for specific scenarios.
- Play a significant role in the implementation of technical solutions under the direction of senior engineers, manager, or project lead.
- Perform On-Call support for after-hours business, as neededQualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of experience as a Windows / Cloud Support Engineer and Cloud Management Tools.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Infrastructure and Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and hybrid identity solutions.
- Understanding of security groups, IAM, and cloud-native services.
- Solid understanding of Azure networking concepts including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Azure Cloud.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of network protocols and security.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, and ARM• Knowledge with version control systems and management of CI/CD pipelines like Azure DevOpsNice to have:
