Your day-to-day
As a Engineer - Backend, you'll design and implement backend solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Design and develop scalable backend systems.
- Optimize system performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers.
What do you need to bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails)
- Advanced proficiency in backend development with either Java EE frameworks, including experience with Spring MVC,
or Hibernate.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful services, focusing on scalability and reliability, using Java.
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Robust understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with ORM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.
- Knowledge of the payment processing industry and relevant regulations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Contributions to open-source projects.
