Job Title: IT Support Specialist (L1) – On-Demand Backfill

Engagement Type: On-Demand / Backfill -Based (Contract)

Compensation: 18 USD ( 1800 INR ) (paid only for days actively dispatched/on assignment)

Potential for Full-Time Conversion:Possible, based on performance and client need

Job Summary: We're looking for an on-demand L1 IT Support Technician to serve as backfill coverage for onsite end-user, office infrastructure, asset management, and project-based support. This is a dispatch-based role .you'll be called in as needed to cover support tickets and onsite visits, with no guaranteed fixed hours. Strong performers may be considered for full time opportunities down the line.

Key Responsibilities:

End-User Support

- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Provision, deploy, replace, and decommission IT equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues
- Coordinate escalations with Level 2 support teams

Office Infrastructure Support

- Support office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV, and workplace technologies
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and related infrastructure equipment
- Assist with smart office solutions, digital signage, and conference room technologies




- Coordinate with vendors and support scheduled maintenance activities

Asset Management

- Receive, register, label, image, deploy, track, and maintain IT assets
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate asset records
- Coordinate warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal, and stock management
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and audit requirements

Project & Site Support

- Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations, and infrastructure projects
- Assist with business events, demonstrations, and technology deployments
- Provide remote hands support and escort third-party vendors when required

Required Skills:

- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and office IT infrastructure
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, access points)
- Experience with hardware asset management and inventory control
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote support teams and vendors
- Flexibility to respond on short notice for dispatch-based assignments

Compensation & Terms:

- $18 ( 1800 INR ) per day , paid only for days worked when dispatched
- On-demand basis assignments as required, no guaranteed hours
- Opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance
