: Senior EDI Consultant Position: Senior EDI Consultant Experience Required: 6+ Years Domain Requirement: Retail / Point of Sales (Mandatory) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Senior EDI Consultant to manage, design, and implement B2B integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in translating business requirements into technical solutions, with a strong focus on SAP and EDI integration. You will play a critical role in managing EDI implementations, customer onboarding, and day-to-day operations for critical order-to-cash and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities System Integration & Development:

- Design and build technical solutions using tools like OpenText Trusted Link Enterprise (TLE) and MoveIt.
- Design solutions in SAP to set up customers with EDI and develop systems for the transmission of messages in SAP.
- Execute API script calls and work with integration systems like SAP PO to implement order fulfillment based on customer requirements.
- Create MoveIt hosts to send and receive data from third-party applications, file servers, AS2, and email addresses.
- Create flows and maps from scratch for onboarding new partners using DTDs and Parsers.
- Operations & Support:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Order-to-cash process, inventory replenishment, and sales data for EDI transactions.
- Lead EDI implementations, support, maintenance, and concurrent application migrations while prioritizing attention to detail.
- Solve incidents and coordinate maintenance activities related to file transfers using TLE and Sterling File Gateway.
- Troubleshoot files sent to customers using OpenText VAN and facilitate customer setups with OpenText.




- Ensure reliable and effective EDI operations by actively monitoring EDI production.

Testing & Analysis:

- Analyze new IDoc formats, such as ORDERS05 and ZORDC05, for recent data flows.
- Conduct multiple rounds of UAT testing with customers to ensure data accuracy and availability, providing UAT approvals.
- Review existing UNIX scripts and develop new scripts for RFC calls and status feedback based on business requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills - Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development, configuration, and production support.

- Domain Knowledge: Mandatory experience in Retail or Point of Sales (POS) EDI operations.
- Core EDI Tools: Proficiency in OpenText Trusted Link Enterprise (TLE) and MoveIt Central.

Experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, VLTrader, and Lexicom is highly preferred.

- SAP Expertise: Exceptional hands-on experience with SAP and EDI integration. Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP PO, and IDoc Management is required.

Experience migrating ERPs from SAP ECC to SAP HANA is a strong plus.

- Protocols & Security: Extensive knowledge of file transmission protocols including FTP, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, and HTTPS. Ability to set up rules for file modifications using encryption and PGP keys.
- EDI Standards: Strong hands-on experience handling ANSI ASC X12 documents, specifically 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 997, DELFOR, RECADV, and DELJIT.

Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with UNIX scripting and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, 4me, and Jira.

Soft Skills: Highly organized, results-oriented team player with excellent communication skills for client liaison and conveying technical ideas to diverse audiences.
