Role Description The Electrician Technician role at Nestlé India is a full time, on-site position based at the Rudrapur manufacturing facility.

The Electrician

Technician will perform day-to-day electrical maintenance, repair, and inspection of plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical circuits, panels, and machinery; diagnosing faults; and executing troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime. The role involves routine preventive maintenance, adherence to safety and compliance standards, and accurate documentation of work performed.

Technician will collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in electrical work, including installation and wiring of equipment.
- Candidates should possess abilities in maintenance & repair of industrial electrical systems and components.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in machinery and infrastructure.
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing plant electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG or food processing.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Willingness to work in shifts, respond to urgent maintenance calls, and collaborate in a diverse team environment.
