Job Summary The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machines, and equipment to ensure smooth factory operations while following all safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery. Diagnose electrical faults and repair motors, control panels, wiring, and electrical circuits.

Maintain electrical distribution systems, switchboards, MCCs, DBs, and lighting systems. Inspect and maintain PLC-controlled machines (basic troubleshooting preferred). Ensure proper functioning of compressors, DG sets, air conditioners, and utility equipment.

Replace faulty electrical components such as contactors, relays, MCBs, fuses, sensors, and switches. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage. Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.

Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Assist in installation and commissioning of current machines and equipment. Maintain housekeeping standards in the maintenance area.

Required

QualificationsITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
