We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with a background in commercial office construction and strong MEP coordination knowledge. You will design power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for corporate interiors and core-and-shell projects. This role requires seamless collaboration with architects and MEP teams to deliver code-compliant, conflict-free construction documents.Core Responsibilities
- Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for commercial office spaces.
- Develop schematic drawings, one-line diagrams, and layouts using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical and plumbing layouts to eliminate spatial conflicts.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analyses, and equipment sizing tasks.
- Ensure full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building rules.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in commercial electrical design or tenant improvement (TI) projects.
