Role & Responsibilities

- Design PCBAs using Cadence Allegro and Altium from schematic to Gerber generation
- Perform layer stack-up, DFA, DFM, and DFT analysis
- Modify PCBAs based on customer specifications and Schlumberger standards
- Create and maintain electrical drawings such as wiring harnesses and connectors using AutoCAD
- Prepare and update BOMs in the Client Product File Database
- Interpret component datasheets for circuit design
- Learn and comply with Schlumberger-specific PCB design and library standards
- Maintain internal checklists based on continuous customer feedback
- Coordinate with team members and provide timely updates to team leads

Education

- Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution

Work Experience





- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar PCB design role

Skills and Qualifications Required

- Proficient in PCB design for multilayer boards
- Strong knowledge of Cadence Allegro
- Good foundation in electrical/electronics concepts
- Detail-oriented with a robust focus on quality
- Effective oral and written communication in English

Desired (Optional)

- Familiarity with IPC standards
- Understanding of EMI/EMC and signal integrity in analog and digital boards
- Ability to interpret schematic flow and basic circuit functionality
- Working knowledge of Altium, Mentor Graphics, AutoCAD
- Experience with ProE is an advantage
