About The Role

We are looking for an Editorial Associate to join our growing editorial team. This role involves researching industry developments, monitoring company announcements, writing high-quality editorial content, and supporting digital publishing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an excellent researcher and writer with strong attention to detail and an interest in business journalism, digital media, and the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor construction company websites and official announcements across the U.S. and Canada.

- Research industry trends, market developments, and emerging topics.

- Write news articles, feature stories, and long-form editorial content.

- Create evergreen resources, guides, FAQs, and educational articles.

- Maintain and update editorial research databases and media contact lists.

- Coordinate with company representatives to gather information and identify story opportunities.

- Fact-check content using reliable primary sources.

- Update existing articles with the latest information, statistics, and industry developments.

- Optimize content for SEO and digital publishing best practices.

- Assist in publishing content through the website CMS.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (or pursuing one) in Journalism,



Communications, English, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

- Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems.

- Basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing.
