InSiSo Technologies Private Limited | Bengaluru
Paid internship · ₹10,000/month · Fast-track to full time for strong performers
Must be able to relocate to Bengaluru immediately — client deployment work starts early
About InSiSo
InSiSo builds InSiSoNet — a proprietary, hardware-agnostic vision AI architecture that runs entirely on-device, with no cloud dependency, deployed on constrained edge silicon.
Bosch Rexroth ctrlX Partner · NVIDIA Inception · Intel ISV Partner · SFAL K-Tech Centre of Excellence (Govt. of Karnataka)
We ship vision applications onto industrial controllers running in real production environments. This role is about making that work — and keeping it working.
How this role works The internship is a working assessment, not a queue. If you're performing, we move you to full-time quickly. This role goes on-site early — client deployments don't wait — so relocation readiness is a hard requirement, not a preference.
What you'll work on
- Package and deploy vision applications as snaps onto ctrlX CORE controllers (X7, X5)
- Build and maintain the ctrlX AddOn build environment; own the deployment pipeline end to end
- Device configuration, networking, Data Layer integration, actuation signal output
- Integrate AI accelerators (Hailo-8) and industrial cameras into the runtime
- Benchmark end-to-end latency on target hardware with a per-stage breakdown
- Define and implement fail-safe behaviour for low-confidence and inference-failure states
- Go on-site to client locations, debug in the field, and own the fix
- Write deployment documentation another engineer can follow start to finish
What you need
Core
- Robust Linux fundamentals — systemd, permissions,
networking, filesystem, and the ability to debug a system that won't boot
- Snap packaging (snapcraft) — or the demonstrated ability to learn it fast. This is how ctrlX applications ship.
- Containers (Docker), build systems (CMake, Make), cross-compilation
- Python and C++
- Comfortable treating SDK and API documentation as your primary reference
- Networking basics: TCP/IP, ports, firewalls, remote debugging on a headless device
Also expected
- Git, shell scripting
- Methodical debugging. When something fails on hardware, you isolate it rather than guess.
Good to have
- ctrlX AUTOMATION, ctrlX WORKS, or any industrial controller platform (PLC, Beckhoff, Siemens)
- Embedded Linux on ARM; Yocto or Buildroot
- ROS / ROS2
- GStreamer, V4L2, video pipeline work
- Industrial camera interfaces — GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, MIPI CSI
- Hardware accelerator toolchains (Hailo, OpenVINO, TensorRT)
- Experience with hardware that had to run unattended in a real environment
Who this suits Final-year students or recent graduates in any engineering discipline who like hardware and stay calm when things break in the field. If you've only ever worked in a notebook, this isn't the role.
Working arrangement
- Bengaluru-based, or able to relocate immediately. On-site client presence at short notice, including travel within India.
- Daily 60-minute standup, camera on, fixed time
- Short written update at end of each day
To apply Send your CV plus a short note covering:
1. One thing you've built. What broke the first time, and how you fixed it.
2. Which role you're applying for.
Your availability — start date, relocation readiness. Duration - 3 months
