E-commerce Content Writer

About the Role:

adidas is looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience writing content specifically for Retail or Fashion E-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, category content, promotional copy, SEO-driven content, and other digital assets that enhance the online shopping experience and drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions, titles, and bullet points tailored to fashion and lifestyle e-commerce listings.
- Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to produce optimized content that drives organic traffic.
- Create engaging content for banners, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media channels.
- Ensure all content aligns with adidas brand tone, style, and voice across platforms.




- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research within the fashion retail segment.
- Audit and update existing content for accuracy, consistency, and performance.
- Work closely with the design, merchandising, and product teams to understand and highlight key product features and benefits.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing specifically within Retail or Fashion E-commerce.
- Excellent command of English grammar and writing styles.
- Experience with SEO best practices, keyword integration, and e-commerce optimization.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, Magento) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A valuable understanding of fashion, footwear, and lifestyle products is highly preferred.
