Introduction

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Foundry Procurement Consumable team. This position will be responsible for managing Foundry raw materials procurement, Scrap, alloys, consumables & maintenance related items. Including capex & other scopes like subcontracting’s etc., which involve Supplier negotiation, material availability, Inventory management , Analystic , Price Indexing, End to End SAP activities.

Your role plays a crucial part in managing & developing procurement under Consumable BA, which will contribute to positively impact in the business.

In this position, you will report to Head of CNS Procurement, India.

This position is mainly located in Ahmedabad.

You will join a team of Strong Procurement dedicated & passionate people , strive to take lead in the challenging situations & strong ability to deliver results in competive working envoirnment. We are currently building & developing Sustainable supply chain and process , system development.

We work closely with internal & external stakeholders - such as Production, Maintenance, other foundry functions and Global procurement and supply chain teams. You will be interacting with Strong Vendor base located within India and other Global locations. Our team culture is all about Performing together & Keeping customer in center.

The members in our team are located in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and other manufacturing locations. What you’ll do Managing Procurement activities related foundry Raw materials, consumable, Maintinance materials managment and service for foundry operations.

Managing continuous improvement for Vendor development ,



facilitating business requirement and derive financials performance , Availablity , helping in maximizing plant output. Would be managing large supplier base & implement required KPIs - Costing, Sustainability, Audit & delivery performance.

Market Intelligence, analytics and right actions to act and operate to meet business needs.

Manage the SAP data management, Process & System utilization. Reporting / Analytics related to various business needs.

Contract management related to Service, Manpower, machining, other Ops, whatever is required.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Stay up to date with technological advancements in Inventory management & Procurement.

Who you are BE / B.Tech in any Engineering field / Diploma with relavant expereince. 10+ year of experience related to Stratigic Procurement, Supplier management, Vendor development.

High level skills are needed – SAP , Excel, Power Point, PBI, Jagger , market intelligence web based tools , Market analyatic .

Strong Analytical & high performance mindset are essential.

Able to meet target deadline and derive result under challenging situations.

Must be able to work for multiple projects at the same time and deliver on fast pace.
