What You’ll Be Doing (position summary):
The Database Administrator is responsible for Monitoring DB, finding slow queries, fine tuning and fixing bottlenecks to keep applications running fast. To design, develop, and implement end-to-end DB solutions across multiple platforms. This role also focuses on building strong collaborative relationships within technical teams and peers, contributing to the effective delivery and management of application systems

this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience
Performance Tuning: Monitoring system speed, finding slow queries, and fixing bottlenecks to keep applications running fast.
Backup and Recovery: Creating data backup plans and testing restoration steps to prevent total data loss during a system crash.
Security and Access Control: Setting up user accounts, defining secure passwords, and giving specific permissions so only authorized people see sensitive data.
Installation and Upgrades: Installing new database software, applying security patches, and updating systems safely.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing unexpected errors, fixing corrupted data, and solving server connection issues.
Capacity Planning: Tracking data growth and requesting more storage or server power before the system runs out of space Who You Are (skills/qualifications):
Must Have Skills
Database Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in SQL, database architecture, and experience with database monitoring/troubleshooting tools. Strong command of Databases like AzureSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server.
Performance Optimization: Monitor system health, tune queries, and adjust memory/storage configurations for peak efficiency.
Scripting Skills: Basic knowledge of coding tools like Python or Unix shell scripts to automate boring daily tasks.
Soft Skills: Great problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex computer issues to non-technical staff. Privacy:
