About The Role We are seeking a talented Designer to join our creative team at MAKA. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand-centric design.

As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating memorable and impactful visual communication across various platforms, including branding, packaging, campaigns, e-commerce, and digital touchpoints. You will work closely with the creative team to develop visual concepts, design routes, and key visuals that align with client briefs and strategic objectives. Your ability to translate creative direction into visually compelling solutions will be crucial in supporting our clients' brand growth and recognition.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education, experience, and skills, including:

- A degree or diploma in Applied Arts, Commercial Arts, BFA, Design, or a related field.




- At least 2+ years of professional experience in design, branding, packaging, advertising, or a creative environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand, packaging, campaign visuals, and digital design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is mandatory, with a strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with AI tools for references, design support, visual exploration, and workflow enhancement.
- Deep understanding of layout, typography, composition, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and detailing.
- Knowledge of current design trends, digital formats, and modern brand communication strategies.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to respond constructively to feedback.
- High attention to detail in execution, file organization, layers, artwork preparation, and final output quality.
- A creative mindset with problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative visual solutions.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

- Creating compelling visual communication assets across brand, packaging, campaign, e-commerce, and digital platforms.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop design concepts, visual systems, and key visuals that meet client briefs and strategic goals.
- Translating creative directions, references, and briefs into clear, impactful design solutions with attention to layout, typography, colour, and composition.




- Ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables by maintaining design standards and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Supporting the development of static, digital, 3D, and motion-led visual content for various brand requirements.
- Preparing files for final output, artwork, and production, ensuring accuracy and precision in every detail.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
- Staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and workflow efficiency.
