Role Overview :

We are looking for a Lead - uPVC Category Design to drive design strategy, innovation, and product development for uPVC doors & windows. The role will lead the design function, enhance product aesthetics & performance, and align offerings with market trends and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Innovation:

- Lead design innovation for uPVC product category

- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences

- Strengthen product positioning through design differentiation

Design & Operations:

- Own end-to-end design lifecycle: concept → prototyping → production

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks

- Drive project timelines, efficiency, and execution

Financial & Business Impact:

- Optimize design costs in collaboration with procurement

- Contribute to revenue growth through market-relevant designs

- Ensure budget adherence

Customer & Market Orientation:

- Build customer-centric product designs

- Integrate feedback into product improvements

- Work with vendors/suppliers for material quality

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor design team

- Drive cross-functional collaboration (R&D;, Marketing, Manufacturing)





- Support hiring and team capability building

Key Skills Required:

Technical:

- Strong expertise in uPVC / Aluminium systems (Windows & Doors)

- Hands-on experience in CAD tools (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)

- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes & prototyping

- Understanding of industry standards & compliance

Ideal Candidate Profile:
