Design Engineer - Mechatronics The position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of Product Design& Development preferably with Semiconductor, Medical and/or Aerospace domain,uses best practices and knowledge to improve products and services, solves complexproblems, and brings a current perspective using existing solutions.This role requires strong communication, in addition to being comfortable with workingindependently through ambiguities under minimal guidance, and acts as a resource forcolleagues with less experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of keysuppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications.May be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custommechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assemblyand/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assembliesthroughout the product life cycle.
Establishes standards across all operational processesSpecify and review engineering documentation
Our Ideal CandidateExperience of designs with: Development life cycle from concept design to manufacturing GD&T CAD (NX preferred) Prototyping and design validation through testing Mechatronics designs and integrations Reliability testing Manufacturing Methods Innovation (new product introduction, invention discoveries, patents) Technical Documentation (including presentations and specs development,feasibility studies) Accuracy & Attention to Detail Material Selection DfX (Manufacturing, assembly, safety, ergonomics) Project ManagementEducation: BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech with any Mechanical Engineering relatedspecialization.Experience: Around 5 Years
