Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with experience in the Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs, validating design parameters, developing technical documentation, and supporting project execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and validate engineering designs for Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plants.
- Develop and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering layouts.
- Prepare design calculations, technical data sheets, BOM (Bill of Materials), and project documentation.
- Ensure design compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with the Project, Production, Procurement, and Sales teams for design-related requirements.
- Modify and update drawings based on client comments and project changes.
- Support manufacturing and installation teams by providing technical clarifications.




- Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all engineering drawings and design records.
- Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements for cost optimization and process efficiency.
- Prepare other technical documents as required for project execution.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Water Treatment & Waste Water Treatment Plant design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare technical data sheets, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and engineering codes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in the design and development of Water Treatment & Waste Water Treatment Plants.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in preparing plant layouts, process equipment drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Hands-on experience in design validation and project documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering standards and documentation practices.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team environment.
