We are looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager – Operations to lead warehouse operations, procurement, customer support, and logistics. In this role, you will ensure smooth order processing, improve inventory management, reduce operational costs, and drive business growth through smart planning and data-driven decisions.

This role is based in Andheri, Mumbai and requires regular travel to Jamnagar, Gujarat to oversee operations, support business teams, and ensure smooth execution across locations.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Warehouse, Purchase, and Customer Connect teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure customer orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain the right stock to meet business needs.
- Improve warehouse efficiency and optimise inventory movement.
- Develop plans to reduce slow-moving and excess inventory.




- Manage domestic and import procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate better pricing and service terms.
- Oversee logistics operations and identify opportunities to reduce transportation and warehouse costs.
- Prepare and review MIS reports related to sales, inventory, procurement, logistics, and operational performance.
- Use data and business trends to improve planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across operations.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and operational excellence.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and senior leadership to achieve business goals.
- Mentor department heads and build a high-performance culture.
- Travel regularly from Mumbai to Gujarat to oversee operations, coordinate with teams, vendors, and business partners, and ensure smooth execution across locations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 15 to 20+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, warehouse management, procurement, and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement,



warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in managing large teams and leading cross-functional operations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, WMS, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in MIS reporting and operational data analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Proven ability to improve processes, optimise costs, and deliver operational excellence.
