Role Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible to lead engineering and design activities for the BESS project, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with EPC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complete design & engineering of BESS project (electrical, civil, system integration)

- Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications

- Ensure design compliance with standards and regulatory guidelines

- Coordinate with execution team to ensure design-to-site alignment

- Optimize design for cost, efficiency, and performance

- Support procurement team with technical inputs and vendor evaluation

- Manage design risks and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs

- Contribute to enhancing grid stability and renewable integration through effective design

Indicative Experience and Exposure

- B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering

- 20 years of experience in design & engineering (Power/EPC projects)

- Strong expertise in electrical systems, substations, or energy storage systems

- Experience in BESS / Renewable Energy Projects preferred

- Strong knowledge of industry standards and design tools

- Leadership experience managing large engineering teams
