/ Responsibilities:

This position would be responsible for ensuring quality compliance in electrical installations across all solar EPC projects. The candidate will champion quality control procedures, inspections, testing protocols, and compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations. The role includes documentation, vendor quality monitoring, and supporting commissioning with high standards of performance and safety.

Tasks:

- In charge of day-to-day implementation of Electrical QA/QC activities across project sites.
- Maintain and implement inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality control checklists for electrical scope.
- Carry out inspections for cable laying, terminations, inverter installations, transformers, HT/LT panels, earthing, and lighting systems.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications, technical drawings, and applicable standards during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct pre-dispatch inspections at vendor locations to ensure material quality and compliance.
- Verify equipment testing certificates, calibration of instruments,



and proper handling of materials at site.
- Monitor third-party inspections, factory acceptance tests (FATs), and site acceptance tests (SATs) for critical electrical equipment.
- Ensure timely documentation of inspections, test reports, NCRs, CAPA, and internal/external quality audits.
- Support execution and commissioning teams with safe electrical testing procedures and energization protocols.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams for issue resolution and quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, and CEA regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and quality across site teams and subcontractors.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 6+ years of experience in electrical quality assurance/control in solar, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, inverters, cable routing, and grid interface.
- Hands-on experience in electrical inspections, testing & commissioning protocols.
- Familiar with relevant codes and standards (IS/IEC/CEA) and DISCOM/utility norms.
- Self-motivated, independent worker, with excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Capable of managing multiple site locations and working under pressure.
- Robust analytical skills with a control and compliance mindset.
- Experience in working with project QA/QC teams, vendors, and EPC stakeholders.

Qualification:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Certification in Quality Management or Electrical Safety Standards preferred.
