Job Summary An experienced DeltaV Engineer to design, configure, implement, test, and support Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS) solutions for process industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. The role involves engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DeltaV systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Configure Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.

- Develop and test control modules, equipment modules, phases, recipes, and batch configurations.

- Configure HMI graphics, alarms, trends, historian, and reports.

- Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), and test documentation.

- Develop and maintain control strategies, interlocks, and sequencing logic.

- Execute system integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, MES, ERP, and third-party devices.

- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.





- Support IQ/OQ/PQ documentation in regulated environments.

- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and industry standards where applicable.

- Diagnose and resolve DeltaV system issues related to hardware, software, networking, and control logic.

Technical Skills

- Strong experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS architecture and engineering.

- Hands-on experience in DeltaV Control Studio, Batch, DeltaV Live

- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, OPC, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).

- Understanding of instrumentation, process control, and automation systems.

Soft Skills

- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

- Willingness to travel abroad or within India for short as well as long duration.
