We are seeking a skilled DCS Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the Distributed Control System (DCS) in our plant. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge and experience in operating DCS systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the DCS system to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the DCS system
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations and DCS system performance
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on the DCS system
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-15 years of experience in operating DCS systems in a manufacturing or process industry
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of DCS systems and plant operations
- Experience with programming and configuring DCS systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
