About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our database systems. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, scalability, performance, and security across all database platforms used in our organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure database architectures.
- Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company data efficiently.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize application-database interaction.
- Evaluate and implement tools for monitoring, automation, and performance tuning.
- Establish and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular database health checks and performance assessments.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
- Support migration of legacy systems to modern database platforms (on-prem and cloud).
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.





Required Skills And Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in database architecture and administration.
- Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Robust knowledge of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in data security, encryption, and access control best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in database technologies (e.g., Oracle DBA, AWS Certified Database – Specialty).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices as applied to database operations.
