About The Role

You will design data platforms for clients drowning in spreadsheets: ingestion from SaaS and databases, warehouse modeling, and the transformation layer that makes metrics consistent.

Responsibilities

Build and orchestrate pipelines (Airflow/Prefect) from diverse sources

Model warehouses (star schemas, dbt) for BI and ML consumption

Own data quality: tests, freshness SLAs, and lineage documentation

Optimize storage/compute costs across Postgres, BigQuery, or Snowflake

Partner with analysts to turn business questions into models

Requirements

3+ years building production data pipelines

Expert SQL and solid Python

Experience with at least one orchestrator and one cloud warehouse

Rigor about idempotency, backfills, and schema evolution
