Project Role : Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description : Develop and configure software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of product lifecycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity.

Must have skills : Automotive ECU Software Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : Bachelors or masters in computers Electronics or any related stream Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced QNX Lead to architect and lead the development of embedded platforms based on QNX RTOS for automotive ECUs and domain controllers. The ideal candidate will drive system integration, performance optimization, and compliance with automotive-grade safety and cybersecurity standards.

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of embedded software components on QNX RTOS for automotive platforms.

Own the Board Support Package (BSP), bootloader, kernel configuration, and device driver stack.

Collaborate with hardware, middleware, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Drive compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), ASPICE, and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity).

Optimize system performance, boot time, and resource utilization.

Manage QNX Momentics IDE, QNX Neutrino RTOS, and related toolchains.

Interface with Tier-1 suppliers, silicon vendors,



and OEMs to align platform requirements.

Mentor and guide a team of embedded engineers across multiple vehicle programs.

Own the QNX base software roadmap and contribute to platform strategy.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.

Work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Professional & Technical Skills: Strong experience in QNX RTOS development for automotive-grade systems.

Expertise in kernel-level programming, device drivers, and low-level debugging. 3 Familiarity with automotive hardware platforms (ARM, x86) and SoCs.

Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

Knowledge of secure boot, OTA update mechanisms, and system diagnostics.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Knowledge on Hypervisor based architecture

Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.

Knowledge in working with Infotainment setup.

Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A Bachelors or master's in computers Electronics or any related stream is required.
