Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cross Border Tech Compliance professional. The role involves monitoring and ensuring that the group’s technology platforms and digital initiatives comply with relevant cross-border regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.

The individual will review and interpret regulatory requirements, develop and update compliance policies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement best practices. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, performing compliance audits, preparing documentation and reports, and supporting incident response related to regulatory or data privacy issues. The role also requires staying current with global regulatory developments, advising project teams on compliance implications, and contributing to training and awareness activities.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of technology-related regulations, cross-border data transfer requirements, and global privacy frameworks (such as GDPR, regional data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards).
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or legal functions within tech,



digital services, or regulated industries, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to practical solutions.
- Excellent analytical, research, and documentation skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, policies, guidelines, and risk assessments.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and time zones in a remote work setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Business, Compliance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, compliance or risk credentials) are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, information security principles, and digital transformation projects is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an asset but not mandatory.
