Cosmetic Formulation Chemist – Natural & Herbal Cosmetics

Jeyam Herbals is looking for a passionate Cosmetic Formulation Chemist to join our Research & Development (R&D;) team.

If you have experience in developing natural and herbal cosmetic products and enjoy creating innovative formulations, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve natural and herbal cosmetic formulations.
- Formulate products such as hair oils, shampoos, soaps, face packs, creams, lotions, serums, lip balms, and other personal care products.
- Research herbal extracts, natural ingredients, and cosmetic raw materials.
- Conduct formulation trials, stability testing, compatibility testing, and product evaluation.
- Prepare formulation records, batch sheets, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams during product development and scale-up.
- Ensure products comply with cosmetic quality and safety standards.

Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm




- B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry or Biotechnology)
- B.Tech Biotechnology
- BAMS / BSMS
- Or any equivalent qualification relevant to cosmetic formulation.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation is preferred.
- Freshers with strong formulation knowledge and R&D; interest are also welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of herbal ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and formulation techniques.
- Strong analytical, research, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
