Job Overview The Oracle UIM Developer / Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, development, and maintenance of Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) to provide accurate, real-time network, service, and resource inventory. The role focuses on ensuring seamless integration with Oracle OSM and ASAP to support order fulfillment and service activation. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle UIM or telecom OSS inventory systems.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Oracle UIM inventory cartridges for network, service, and resource models using Oracle Design Studio. Develop and support Groovy-based customizations for inventory logic, validation rules, and business requirements. Support inventory data migration, reconciliation, cleansing activities, and capacity planning while assisting with inventory audits.

Build and maintain integrations between Oracle UIM and OSM, ASAP, and AIA to support order decomposition, resource assignment, and fulfillment processes.



Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle UIM or telecom OSS inventory systems. Strong knowledge of Oracle UIM architecture, Oracle Design Studio cartridge development, and Groovy scripting for UIM customization. Familiarity with WebLogic Server administration, XML/XSD, web service integrations, and robust SQL skills with Oracle Database.

Good understanding of Oracle UIM data models and inventory management concepts.

Experience integrating Oracle UIM with Oracle OSM and ASAP, working on Oracle RODOD-based BSS/OSS stacks, or participating in network inventory data migration projects is an added advantage.
